Case #3

Challenge: A major hospital system identified that adding an urgent care to their health delivery system and ancillary service lines was a good opportunity. However, the organization currently had no knowledge about how to set up or bill for the services.

Solution: ACA Medical Management Solutions (ACA) agreed to partner with the hospital system through a joint venture to open, manage, and provide revenue enhancement services for four urgent care centers. After the analysis and terms were negotiated, ACA provided the workforce and management oversight required to build and operate these urgent care centers. Each center was a full turnkey operation with skills and specific knowledge bases being applied across multiple fronts.

Outcome: All four urgent care centers are still owned and operated under the joint partnership between the two organizations, and they are all maintaining profitability.
